SOME TOP notch performers are visiting the Algarve this summer.
If you’ve got 500 or 700 euros to spare, you could catch Lionel Richie performing at the Sheraton Pinecliffs Resort in Albufeira on August 1.
There are tickets for 300 euros each but they’ve proved so popular that there is now a waiting list. All tickets include a gala dinner and welcome cocktail (the meal, seats and cocktails vary as to whether you’ve purchased platinum, gold or silver tickets). Contact 289 500 350.

Elvis Costello & the Allen Toussaint Band entertain the crowds at Vilamoura’s Lake Resort on July 31.
Vale do Lobo is the place to be on July 25 where Kool and the Gang will be performing and on August 3 Lloyd Cole will make an appearance there.
Mexican singer Lila Downs is performing in Quarteira on July 24.
