POLICE IN Germany broke into an apartment after neighbours complained of a rotten smell coming from inside. They told officers that they had not seen any movement in the apartment for a week and the mailbox had not been checked.
Instead of finding what they believed would be a decomposing corpse, officers discovered a man asleep in a pile of his own foul-smelling laundry.
