A group of students gathered today outside the Prime Minister’s official residence to deliver a letter to Luís Montenegro threatening to boycott classes if the government does not prioritise the fight against climate change. The “End the Fossil” Movement has gathered over a thousand signatures demanding clear measures from the government to combat climate change, including a drastic cut in greenhouse gas emissions, or else ‘at the end of April, students will leave school and begin a two-week period of school closures’.
