Pilates and breakfast on the beach, Chiringuito and sunset … summer bliss!
With the hot weather demanding that you enjoy every moment by the sea, the Armação Beach Club – home to Vila Vita Parc’s beach restaurants – has prepared a varied programme with plenty of excuses to keep your feet in the sand and your eyes on the Atlantic.
At NANA on the Beach, the restaurant that brings Mediterranean flavours to Armação de Pêra beach, the news starts at the beginning of the day. From 08.30am to 11am this season, the restaurant is launching a breakfast offer that includes Breakfast Bowls (with seasonal fruit and local vegetables), Eggs n’ Toasts (poached eggs, huevos rancheros, French toast), Pancakes (with maple syrup, banana mousse and mango or wholemeal, with pear and whipped cream), juices and smoothies, always with a Mediterranean twist.
For those who wake up needing a nutritious meal, Morning Essentials is the option: it includes bread and viennoisserie, butter and jam, Algarve citrus bircher muesli with Greek yoghurt, chia, berries and honey, pancakes, juice of the day and coffee or tea.
On Fridays, it’s Wake Up Pack Day: at 7.30am, there’s a 60-minute Pilates class overlooking the sea, in an offer that also includes Morning Essentials breakfast. It costs €35 and bookings must be made at healthclub@vilavitaparc.com or +351 282 320 351.
On Thursdays, on the restaurant’s terrace, there is Kalamata Vibes, an invitation to end the day sipping a cocktail as the sun goes down, in the style of the Greek islands without leaving the Algarve.
Until September 14, the Sunset Beach Lounge closes the beach day and opens the Praia Dourada lounge floor. With free entry and music provided by various guest DJs every Friday and Saturday, the party kicks off at 7pm and invites you to dance in the sea air.
Chiringuito Chic also takes place at Praia Dourada on Sundays from 1pm to 4pm. Live music, a menu featuring fresh, local ingredients and an elegant, relaxed atmosphere invite you to take your time over Sunday lunches in a summer setting. Tickets cost €46 and include starters (Iberian ham, Manchego cheese, boquerones, cod croquetas, among others…), paella and dessert.
