Bikers enjoyed excellent views over stunning Algarve hills
The Algarve Senior Bikers’ ride last month was from São Marcos da Serra through the hills towards Monchique before heading down to Silves for a stop near the river for refreshments.
Although it was a beautiful sunny clear day which provided excellent views towards the barrage (dam) at Odelouca and the coast, the cold wind made for a chilly ride in the hills.
The numbers again required three separate groups under the guidance, on this occasion, of Sandra and Stefan Greger, Peter Kenyon and Steve Gallagher, and Philippe Payen and Leo Laurense.
Philippe was in charge of the overall organisation of the day which finished with “an excellent lunch” at restaurant A Lagosteira in Olhos d’Água, Albufeira.
The next group ride will be on March 20. Details will be available soon at algarveseniorbikers.com
