QUARTEIRA WILL be hosting its second surf and reggae festival, Surfóreggae, on August 22 at Quarteira beach and along the pedestrianised beachfront.
Throughout the day, there will be free surf lessons, street entertainment and games as well as the chance to win a surf board. From 8.30pm, reggae bands including The Most Wanted, Prince Wadada (pictured), Cool Hipnoise and Riddim Culture Sound System will play into the night.
Tickets cost seven euros if bought before the event at Quarteira parish council or at Sun Planet shops in Vilamoura Marina, Forum Algarve and Portimão, or in Loja Yucca in Loulé.
