The Siberian pianist and composer will showcase original themes alongside a multicultural ensemble on February 28.
Svetlana Bakushina, a pianist and composer born in Siberia, is set to perform at the Teatro Lethes in Faro on February 28 at 19h00. Together with her multicultural band, the Algarve-based artists will present a show that fuses music inspired by folk themes from various cultures, enhanced with jazz, classical music, and progressive rock elements.
The Svetlana Bakushina Fusion Project, which has already captivated audiences with sold-out concerts in the Algarve, will perform original themes notable for their complexity and incorporation of improvisational elements.
Svetlana Bakushina will be joined by Mexican cellist Seibas Gamboa, and Portuguese drummer Jorge Carrilho, who form the project’s core. The group will also feature guest artists for this concert, including Chilean singer Katherine Valenzuela and saxophonist Daniel Marques. German artist Marc Mennigmann will perform with a modular synthesiser.
The concert has the support of Antena 2 radio.
Tickets cost €10 and are available on the Bol.pt platform, at FNAC stores, and at the Lethes Theatre box office.
