Sweet corruption

Three PSP policemen are on trial in Lisbon this week, accused of selling information in return for bottles of wine and cheese. Money is also alleged to have come into the picture, and on one occasion designer trainers. The case revolves around information leaked to quarries and pyrotechnical companies that used explosives about imminent inspections by the authorities.
The agents, all members of the PSP Arms and Explosive Department, have thus far kept their silence, writes Correio da ManhĂŁ newspaper.
