After a successful first event, the Faro Tango Fest will return to Teatro das Figuras on January 16-17 with “even more professional tango dancers than before”.
The main performance will once again feature Argentine tango duo Milton Homann and Romina Godoy, this time joined on stage by fellow dancers Gastón Godoy and Laura Atienza. Named ‘Tango a Cuatro’, the show is scheduled for 9.30pm on the Saturday.
But there will be more, including a workshop over the two days providing a unique chance to learn how to dance tango at both a beginners and intermediate level.
Dance students can then show off their new moves at the closing event, a tango dance party known as a ‘Milonga’, which will take place at the theatre’s foyer after the ‘Tango a Cuatro’ show.
Tickets for the event, organised by Ibérica Eventos, can be purchased at Teatro das Figuras.
The workshop costs €25 for an individual dancer and €35 for a pair, while the show costs €12.
