Cape Verde is taking 10 startups to this year’s edition of the Web Summit, due to take place in Lisbon next week, and wants to cause “impact” by finding the best partners “at a technological level” for doing business, the country’s government has said today. The Web Summit opens on November 1, and is expected to attract 70,000 participants, over 2,600 startups and companies, 1,120 investors and just over 1000 speakers. The event runs until November 4.
