KATE AND Gerry McCann received seven thousand emails and countless letters of support last weekend, whoch marked 100 days since Madeleine disappeared.
The couple have now thanked “the thousands of people who have written messages of support” to them.
Some of the comments in the letters the couple received included: “We are in solidarity with you and believe in Madeleine’s return. I hope she returns alive as soon as possible”, from an identified Portuguese retired teacher; and “I am praying that God will bring your agony to an end very soon and Madeleine will be found” from a housewife in Belfast.
