Thousands of police expected at Wednesday protest outside parliament

Thousands of police from all forces are expected to take part in the protest scheduled to begin in Lisbon, outside the parliamentary building, on Wednesday afternoon. Reports describe “dozens of buses  with police and military personnel from all over the country” expected to converge on Lisbon. The initial meeting place is in front of GNR central command in Largo do Carmo, with a slow march to follow to the steps of the Republican Assembly.
