Three people have died today in a house fire in Sabrosa (Vila Real district). According to early reports, the fire broke out around 5am. The dead are understood to be an elderly couple and their daughter (a woman in her 50s). Two younger people, possibly grandchildren/ children of the dead, aged 16 and 20, managed to escape without serious injuries. It is believed the fire was started by some form of heating in the property.
