THREE friends of the McCanns are expected at the Polícia Judiciária Criminal Investigation Department of Portimão at 11am today (Wednesday).
The two women and a man, whose identities were not revealed, are to be interviewed by investigators.
“They are only witnesses, not suspects or anything,” a source close to the investigation told The Resident.
Robert Murat is also expected to return to PJ in Portimão this morning, although the time was not confirmed by the PJ.
Police investigators are calling several witnesses involved in the case of the disappearance of Madeleine McCann this week.
They include Michaela Walczuch, Robert Murat’s German partner in the Romigen property website, and her Portuguese ex-husband António Luís.
