French citizens living in Portugal who want to vote in their country’s elections this weekend have three venues in which they can do so: the Liceu Francês Charles Lepierre in Lisbon, the Liceu Francês Internacional in Porto, and Hotel Tivoli Marina, in Vilamoura, Algarve. According to the French embassy in Lisbon, these makeshift polling stations will be open from 8am on Sunday to 6pm, and again on Sunday July 7, for the second round of voting. France’s President Macron called these elections following the landslide ‘win’ by the French far-right Rassemblement National in the European elections, earlier this month.
