Tickets now on sale for Lagoa’s FATACIL fair

FATACIL is described as the “biggest event south of the Tejo River”

Lagoa Municipal Council has announced that tickets for the town’s FATACIL fair, which will take place between August 16 and 25, are already for sale.

Tickets can be purchased online at BOL, or in person at CTT post offices, FNAC and Worten stores or the local Balcão Único office, with prices ranging from €5 for a daily ticket for one person and €16 for a ‘family ticket’ (four people older than 12) to €30 for a ten-day pass. Children aged 12 and under can enter for free.

Described as the “biggest event south of the Tejo River,” FATACIL is undoubtedly one of the events in the Algarve that pulls the largest crowds. With its selection of concerts, business exhibitions, equestrian events, handicraft, food stalls and much more, the event is expected to attract over 20,000 visitors every day.

Around 700 exhibitors are expected, while live entertainment will be divided among the three stages. Organisers are also promising the “largest Fun Zone ever” and “hundreds of points of interest.”

The list of headlining performers has also been announced and features Os Quatro e Meia (August 16), Ivandro (August 17), D.A.M.A. (August 18), João Pedro Pais (August 19), Carolina Deslandes (August 20), David Carreira (August 21), Julinho KSD (August 22), Amália Hoje (August 23), Calema (August 24) and Xutos e Pontapés (August 25).

The fair will be held at the municipal fairground from 6pm to 1am. Tickets can also be purchased on the days of the event at the venue.
