The Algarve was well represented at the British Ambassador’s Residence in Lisbon last week to celebrate the Queen’s 93rd official birthday.
Ambassador Chris Sainty and his wife Sarah welcomed hundreds of guests to the festivities where Titan the Robot was the star of the show.
The UK will be playing a major role in the Science 2019 meeting being held in Lisbon from July 8 to 10 where Titan will be putting his best foot forward.
The light rain and cool evening could not dampen the celebrations where guests enjoyed a variety of foods and drinks including a selection of beers from Faro’s Algarve Rock microbrewery.
The evening drew to a close as guests were offered fish and chips to cap a truly enjoyable evening.
