The Portuguese Tourism Confederation (CTP) reiterates the urgent need for an alternative to Lisbon airport and questions how the project is progressing since Alcochete was chosen, asking for a timetable for the future infrastructure. According to the draft state budget for 2025, the government will go ahead next year with carrying out “basic studies” to support the technical solutions for implementing the new airport.
