With the help of beach concessionaires, the Red Seagull Association collected the summer’s mislaid toys to donate to the Refúgio Aboim Ascensão in Faro.
For the second year running, the Red Seagull Association completed another toy handout to the Aboim Ascensão Refuge, with items gathered during the summer by beach concessionaires and left on the beach by bathers.
Throughout the summer, the organisation kept the initiative alive, encouraging beach concessionaires to gather toys left behind, which brought smiles to the faces of the children at the Refúgio Aboim Ascensão in Faro.
For the association, the delivery “not only contributes to cleaning the beaches but also brings happiness to those who need it most”.
With this initiative, Red Seagull highlights in a statement that it not only helps keep beaches clean but also creates a community support network, “involving concessionaires and encouraging a positive impact on society”.
