Early morning passengers on the Douro Line today saw their schedules vastly affected after the train derailed due to stones on the tracks. Circulation had to be temporarily suspended between Ermida and Rede stations, in the area of Mesão Frio towards Baião, but no-one was injured. The area is under weather warnings due to heavy rain and wind.
