Members from the Association of British Riding Schools (proprietors and trainers) will be in the Algarve from October 15 to 19 to visit some of the local equestrian professionals and their schools, and to experience some “Portuguese hospitality”.
This trip is organised by Bev Gibbons of the ABRS-approved school Pinetrees in Almancil, who has brought the members twice before to Portugal to the Lisbon and Tomar areas.
The programme for the October trip is also open to any Algarve horse enthusiasts interested in viewing the demonstrations at Pinetrees, Centro Lusitanus or Monte Santa Luzia (both in Loulé) with a participation cost. They will receive an ABRS participation certificate for attending the teach-in demos. “This is a rare opportunity for us in the Algarve to see some quality teach-ins,” said Bev Gibbons.
