Two men, 51 and 53, were arrested and over 14,000 doses of drugs were seized in a major GNR police operation in Portimão and Sines on Tuesday.
A 38-year-old woman was also named an ‘arguido’ (official suspect) on suspicion of drug trafficking.
The operation had been ongoing for around a year and resulted in eight searches, resulting in the confiscation of 7,367 doses of cocaine, 5,761 of heroin and 907 of hashish as well as €16,155 in cash.
