Two fatal road accidents in two days in Algarve

Accidents took place in Silves and Faro

Two people died in separate road accidents in the Algarve between Wednesday and Thursday.

A 74-year-old man was killed in a crash involving three cars and a quadricycle in Benafátima, Silves, at around 7pm on Wednesday, which also injured four other people who were taken to Portimão Hospital. The accident took place on the municipal EM 541 road.

A second tragedy occured on Thursday in Faro, where a man in his 30s died after crashing his bike on the EN125 road in São João da Venda. GNR police’s unit of road accident crime investigation is investigating the cause of the crash.
