Ukraine’s ambassador to Portugal has said today that there is no concrete proposal from the United States to negotiate peace between Kyiv and Moscow, adding that the preconditions put forward by Russia this far namely Kyiv’s withdrawal from four regions occupied by Moscow are “absolutely” unacceptable (…) We don’t see that Russia is ready to start negotiations”, Maryna Mykhailenko explained.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has intimated that he would immediately order a ceasefire in Ukraine if Kyiv renounced plans to join NATO and withdrew from four regions unilaterally occupied and annexed by Moscow – Kherson, Zaporijia, Donetsk and Luhansk.
