The unemployment rate in Portugal fell to 6.4% last month, the lowest figure since last August – 0.2 percentage points lower than the previous month and equal to the same month in 2023, INE (statistics institute) announced today.
In numbers, December 2024 registered 352,400 unemployed people, against an employed population of 5,127,300.
