The number of people signing on at job centres increased for the 5th consecutive month in November. According to data compiled by the IEFP (Institute of Employment and Professional Training), unemployment increased by another 5.3% last month, translating into a 3% increase in numbers registered in October, and 5% more than in November of 2022. In total, this translates into 312,310 people officially registered as unemployed last month.
