Unique gifts from inland Algarve at Loulé Christmas fair

With around 100 exhibitors, the fair offers visitors a chance to find unique Christmas gifts

Loulé will welcome another edition of its ‘Feira da Serra de Natal’ on December 7 and 8, a festive fair celebrating the cultural heritage of the Serra do Caldeirão mountain range.

Held in the old Carnaval warehouse near the Santo António convent, the event is organised by the municipal council to showcase the area’s rich traditions through its crafts, gastronomy, culture and local products.

With around 100 exhibitors, the fair offers visitors a chance to find unique Christmas gifts typical from the inland regions of this part of the Algarve while supporting the local economy.

Entertainment will feature street performances from the accordion duo Mito Algarvio and musical groups like “Beira Serra”, “Allcante – Modas e Cante” and “D’Alma Rufada”.

There will also be activities for children, including workshops organised by Loulé Criativo focusing on tapestry and woodworking.

Last but not least, culinary demonstrations from the Cozinha Partilhada de Salir group will focus on regional delicacies like carob and olives.

The fair, which is part of Loulé’s larger 2024 Christmas programme, runs from 10am to 8pm on Saturday and 12pm to 8pm on Sunday. Admission is free.
