Stephen Jones, who is well known to the community in the Algarve, has joined the Vale Verde International School (VVIS) as principal.
He has a Masters of Education Degree in Educational Management and Leadership in addition to his BA Degree in English (first class honours) and PGCE training qualifications.
Jones has 23 years of teaching experience and leading and managing public and private schools in the UK and international schools.
Clare Jones, who is married to Stephen, will be the new Head of Primary. She is an experienced Primary School practitioner and Key Stage One and Foundation Stage Coordinator with over 20 years of employment in independent and state schools.
Clare Jones holds a BA from the University of East Anglia, PGCE and NPQH (National Professional Qualification for Headteachers).
