Surf || Praia da Cordoama in Vila do Bispo will be hosting the last stage of the Algarve’s 2014 surfing circuit competition – Circuito de Surf do Algarve – on August 29 and 30.
Surfers will be competing in six categories: under 8s, under 12s, under 14s, under 16s, Open and Open for Women.
There will also be a dinner and award ceremony following the competition on the evening of August 30 at Hotel Memmo Baleeira in Sagres.
Organisers, the Algarve Surf Clube, have however warned that the competition may be moved to the Mareta, Ponta Ruiva or Amado beaches if the sea is too rough.

Registration costs €5 for members of the Algarve Surf Clube and €15 for non-members.
The Vila do Bispo stage of the circuit is organised with the support of the Portuguese Surfing Federation, the municipalities of Vila do Bispo and Lagos, Vazva Surf School, Algarve Surf School and The Hangout restaurant.
