The second edition of the fair, which more than 70 industry companies will attend, takes place at the Algarve Congress Centre in Vilamoura.
This year, the Bolsa de Empregabilidade (Employment Exchange) is organising five job fairs across the country. The first event is scheduled for February 5 in Vilamoura, for which more than 200 participants are reported to have already registered.
In a statement, the tourism hiring hub states that the second edition of the Job Fair in the Algarve will take place at the region’s congress centre between 10h00 and 17h00 and will be attended by more than 70 companies from the hotel and catering sector, tourist entertainment and similar activities, aiming to reinforce their respective teams.
Quoted in the statement, the president of Forum Tourism and founder of the Employment Exchange highlights the strategic importance of the region for Portuguese tourism: “We are very excited to start this new chapter of Job Fairs and to return to the Algarve, a region of extreme importance for the country’s tourism sector. We hope to provide new possibilities and valuable connections for the professionals and companies present and encourage the search for opportunities through our employment platform,” says António Marto.
In addition to the Algarve Job Fair, the Centro Fair in Coimbra date has also already been confirmed, taking place on April 16.
