Vilamoura Vipers are a recently-created netball club
The Vilamoura Vipers Netball Club is inviting young female athletes to join the local netball club with a view to represent Portugal at an international tournament in France.
The tournament will take place in August and time is of the essence, according to club director, Sheba Karamat.
“This landmark event signifies a significant milestone for netball in Portugal, and we’re poised to showcase our talent and passion on a global platform,” the club director says.
“Facing formidable opponents such as France, Germany, Spain, Gibraltar and Switzerland, our team anticipates an exhilarating showcase of skill, teamwork, and sportswomanship. Beyond the competition, this tournament presents a unique chance for players to forge lasting bonds, overcome challenges, and embrace the transformative power of netball,” she adds.
As Sheba explains, joining the Vipers Netball Club “isn’t just about playing a sport; it’s about joining a supportive community dedicated to growth and unity. Our club offers a nurturing environment where every member is valued and empowered to thrive. Through shared victories and experiences, we foster resilience, teamwork, and leadership skills that extend far beyond the court.”
