Around 1,200 people turned up in force for the ‘1st Eco Meia Maratona de Vilamoura’ half marathon held on March 8.
Organised by Let’s Go Algarve, the event featured a 21km for more advanced athletes and a 9km route.
Apart from the half marathon being considered a “success”, it was also able to raise €1,180 for the Casa da Primeira Infância children’s home in Loulé.
