The local councils of Vila Real de Santo António and Castro Marim have agreed to a joint strategy to limit the spread of Covid-19 in the two municipalities.
The strategy, which will be reevaluated on October 15, involves measures such as “suspending all sports, social and cultural events that involve large gatherings of people”, urging people to use masks when interacting with others even outdoors and increasing surveillance to detect illegal private parties.
