After being given an early taste of winter, Portugal is set to enjoy warmer temperatures and clearer skies from Sunday.
IPMA warns there may still be some wind and rain today (October 17) but from tomorrow predictions improve with temperatures reaching up to 30º in the Algarve and Alentejo and “no more rain”, at least for the time being.
Temperatures may actually increase by 2ºC to 3ºC per day, IPMA’s meteorologist Cristina Simões told Lusa news agency.
Maximums will range from between 25ºC-26ºC in areas such as Lisbon and Viseu to 27ºC-30ºC in Faro, Porto, Évora and Beja.
These high temperatures are set to increase as the week continues.
