Portugal is in for another weekend of warm, sunny weather, with temperatures expected to reach maximums of 31ºC in Faro, 37ºC in Évora, 27ºC in Lisbon and 24ºC in Porto, according to data from the Portuguese Sea and Atmosphere Institute (IPMA).
“For this weekend, we predict clear skies, with the wind blowing from the north and being strongest on the coast, as well as a slight temperature rise,” meteorologist Paula Leitão told Lusa news agency.
Although temperatures “dropped significantly” today – in some areas falling 7ºC-10ºC – Leitão says they are expected to increase again tomorrow and throughout next week.
