After a less than inspiring April, Portugal could finally be in for some really good weather.
Temperatures are expected to increase “significantly” this weekend, reaching 28ºC in the Algarve, 30ºC in Lisbon and 35ºC in the Alentejo, IPMA meteorologist Ângela Lourenço has declared.
If forecasts are to be believed, Sunday will be the hottest day of the weekend, with temperatures reaching even higher on Monday.
Only northern areas like Porto and Viseu are at risk of missing the fun, with clouds covering the skies and temperatures only reaching maximums of 24ºC.
