Portugal’s lacklustre weather is expected to continue this weekend, with cloud-filled skies and moderate temperatures.
Rain is forecast in many areas – especially on Saturday (April 18) in the north – but if we’re lucky there could be sun in the south, says Portuguese Sea and Atmosphere Institute (IPMA).
Sunday, however, elicits bleaker forecasts for the Algarve – which is expected to be overcast by “heavy, grey clouds” – while skies will become clearer in the north.
IPMA predicts temperatures will reach maximums of 21ºC in the Algarve, 19ºC in Lisbon and 16ºC in Porto.
