Courtney Love is advertising for a new housekeeper on MySpace.
She is tired of traditional agencies and having a go with unconventional methods to find an employee. On her blog she wrote a post, ‘I know this is weird but the agencies suck and I’m sick of pigs who steal. It’s as simple as that, so **** it. Why not try MySpace?’ Candidates should live near Malibu, be ‘insanely clean’ and be ‘someone who really wants to get into the film business.’ Courtney hopes to find a cleaner who is interested in working on ‘Heavier than Heaven’, the planned biopic about Kurt Cobain. Signing her post ‘weirdo mgcee’, she finished the advertisement by saying: ‘No super fans please. And it’s very good money.’
Nevertheless, in a later post Courtney admitted, ‘It’s just weird I went on MySpace looking for an assistant. I’m insane.’
