‘Co-Creating a Limitless Future’ is the theme of the TEDx event
For the first time, the western Algarve region will host a TEDx event, bringing together “visionaries, creators and changemakers to share ideas that will shape the future.”
TEDx Praça Gil Eanes will take place at the Centro Cultural de Lagos (Lagos Cultural Centre) on Monday, May 12, under the theme ‘Co-Creating a Limitless Future’.
The event is described by organisers as a “call to action for those who believe in breaking boundaries and redefining what’s possible”.
“In a world evolving faster than ever, the future is no longer something we wait for. It’s something we create,” they say, stressing that the meeting will explore how “collaboration, innovation and bold thinking can transcend limitations and build a future beyond imagination.”
“We are at a turning point. The Algarve is brimming with talent, innovation, and vision. This event is about sparking real change and inspiring people to build something greater, together,” they add.
TEDx events are independently organised conferences that follow the format and principles of TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) talks but are independently planned by local organisers – in this case, the municipal council of Lagos alongside LOFT, W4M Digital Solutions and SheSapiens Algarve.
The conference will take place from 9.30am to 5pm, with tickets for sale for €55.
