A woman is reported to be fighting for her life in Porto’s Prelada Hospital after being set alight by her husband outside the family home in Braga on Monday morning. The horrific crime seems to have involved alcohol, but PJ police suspect another substance was used as well. As they investigate, the woman’s husband remains “on the run”, while a grown-up daughter escaped the violence with only slight injuries.
