Wine Emotions is a passionate project fuelled by the love that the two business partners in charge share for wine.
Headed by João Marques, formerly the Sommelier at Gordon Ramsay’s famous Claridges, London, and Tiago Reis, local entrepreneur, Wine Emotions offers a variety of services related to wine.
The organisation of wine events or the offering of sommelier services are only examples of what can be arranged.
The company also prides itself on the fact that it deals predominately with small producers and carries varieties often only available through them.
Originally based in Portimão, it has now opened its showroom in Lagoa, opposite the local Pingo Doce supermarket. The premises are part gallery, showroom and retail.
Those interested are invited to visit the showroom to enjoy a day of tastings on December 7, from 4pm to 8pm. There will be a wonderful selection of wines available to try and buy. It is a fantastic opportunity to meet the producers and find out more about some of the lesser known Portuguese labels.
An entry fee of €10 will be charged but refunded with any purchases made on the day (also see advert on this page).
