Established in 2000 as The British Hearing Centre, it has recently changed its name to MiniSom. With 20 trained hearing aid dispensers offering competent and useful advice, MiniSom is at the forefront of the industry.
MiniSom, with its new head office in the centre of Loulé as well as 65 members of staff, is expanding and James Everitt, the head of MiniSom, said: “We plan to open five more shops in January.”
As an independent retailer, customers get the best product for them, and quality and personal service are paramount. Digital hearing aid products come from the best manufacturers, including Oticon and Phonak.
In the Algarve, MiniSom outlets can be found in Almancil, Loulé, Faro and Portimão. There are three located in Lisbon, two in Porto, and one in Braga, Aveiro, Viseu, Coimbra, Amadora and Setúbal.
