A woman in her 40s was gunned down and killed in a shop in Porto last night, police believe by a former male companion. The man burst his way into the perfumery in Praceta Bernarda Ferreira Lacerda, screaming “I am going to kill you” at his victim, before he did. He shot the woman in the head and chest. A second woman, in the shop at the time, had the sense of mind, and courage, to follow the man out into the street, and take the licence plate of the car he drove away in. PJ police are investigating.
