A 58-year-old woman died on Tuesday morning in an accident involving three vehicles on the EN125 road in Portimão.
The accident occurred in Companheira near the Arade Bridge at around 9am, a source from the Algarve’s civil protection command told Lusa news agency.
Two men, 55 and 75, were also injured.
The cause of the crash is still unknown.
