The opening concert of the World Accordion Trophy, described as the “biggest accordion event in the world”, will take place at the Cine-Teatro Louletano in Loulé on Sunday (November 3) at 5pm.
Several world-class accordionists will be performing at the local theatre until November 9, with the opening performance featuring the winner of last year’s edition Radu Ratoi, Portuguese accordionist Gonçalo Pescada and the Algarve Accordion Orchestra.
Tickets cost €5.
