Luxury yacht company Sunseeker hosted a mega party last week in Vilamoura to celebrate the official opening of its new offices in the popular resort town’s acclaimed marina.
The launch party was attended by around 200 people, including Sunseeker owners, celebrities and brand partners as well as Loulé mayor Vítor Aleixo.
“Vilamoura marina gives Sunseeker London Group the perfect platform to launch Sunseeker in Portugal. With a fantastic marina and an effective development plan in course, we have no doubts that this choice will be a success,” Sunseeker Portugal’s CEO Steve Handy said.
Handy said he was “thrilled” by the success of the event, which allowed the group to sell one of the yachts that was on display.
He added that he is “very keen” to help the development of the marina and believes the partnerships they are building will contribute to this goal.
The CEO also revealed that Sunseeker is planning lots of events in Vilamoura in the future.
The launch party of the company’s offices in Vilamoura featured entertainment by Beau McClellan and his team.
Sunseeker Portugal displayed three Sunseeker vessels: the Sunseeker San Remo, Sunseeker Predator 57 and a Sunseeker Predator 84. All guests had the opportunity to view the models on display, before the pontoon and boats turned into the stage for an “incredible performance”.
There were three “supercars” parked outside the Sunseeker showroom on the marina, provided by Racingvarius from Lisbon. Six lucky guests who attended the event will win a half-day tour of the Algarve in the cars (Lamborghini Huracan, McLaren MP4 and a Porsche Turbo S) this Thursday courtesy of Sunseeker Portugal.
Sunseeker is a British luxury yacht company which has been making motor boats since 1969. In 2013, it was taken over by Chinese conglomerate Dalian Wanda Group.
