President of the National Anticorruption Mechanism António Pires de Graça has added his voice to what is now a cacophony calling for explanations from the Attorney General over ‘investigations’ that effectively brought down two governments, with no apparent hard evidence to back them up. The public has to be aware WHY public prosecutors acted as they did, said Pires de Graça today, as the more than 50 public figures who signed a manifesto in this regard are keen for an audience with President Marcelo. In short, the pressure on Attorney General Lucília Gago to answer questions in parliament is coming very much from all sides.
