Another day, another airline story: this time (yet another) Ryanair plane made an unscheduled stop due to a “violent discussion” involving a British couple on board a flight from the East Midlands to Tenerife, in the Canary Islands.
The altercation saw a man arrested and left behind in Porto Santo, Madeira.
As in all these stories, very little is explained about what happened afterwards to the stranded passenger.
A quick online search confirms that problem passengers are frequently forced off Ryanair flights, many of them due to being drunk or under the influences of chemical substances.
