The Algarve’s marine theme park was distinguished with the coveted prize at the World Luxury Travel Awards 2024.

Zoomarine, the Algarve’s famous marine theme park, was voted the world’s best theme park at the World Luxury Travel Awards 2024.

Tiago Pierotti, executive director of Zoomarine, received the award on behalf of the entire team and stated, “Since our foundation, we have worked hard to offer happy memories, combined with teachings about the conservation of the ocean and marine species”.

Created in 2020, the World Luxury Travel Awards receive more than 100,000 votes annually from travellers worldwide. The initiative recognises and distinguishes excellence in tourism, promotes nominated and winning destinations and entities, and highlights the best travel experiences worldwide.

The winners are selected based on voting by industry professionals and consumers, ensuring that the choices reflect the opinions of those who have first-hand experience.
