Around 20% of hairdressers, barbers shops and beauticians closed their doors definitively during Portugal’s first period of confinement The Portuguese association of babers, hairdressers and beauticians has said it fears many professionals now are working in the ‘parallel economy’, meaning those establishments that managed to survive now have ‘unfair competition’.
